Developer Notes:
Please checkout our Youtube Channel where you can find videos going over the latest changes made to the platform.
- (FIXED) The Content Attribution that occurs when deleting users in the Group & Users has been fixed.
- Content Attribution, put simply, means the transfer of content from one user(s) to another.
- The data rewrite that occurs during Content Attribution has been fixed
- (FIXED) Removed the GCD Group Restriction when deleting users
- Deleting a user will now perform an automatic cleanup of Group Links; however, deleting users is significantly more permanent and more difficult to undo.
- (FIXED) User Switch feature has been fixed for the edge case when moving from an Admin to Non-Admin and back to Admin profiles.
- The File Manager inside the My Explorer has received an update
- (NEW) There is a new level of access available called "Root".
- Each user created on your site is given a directory where files uploaded are stored. In some cases of uploading, files are mis-categorized and instead of being categorized by file type, they are placed into the Root folder.
- This new folder should allow for accessing to files that were otherwise believed to be missing.
- (NEW) Folder available in the File Manager called "Video"
- Video files uploaded are stored into the video folder
- IES/Cyberschool still retains it's policy that we are not a file repository. We still highly recommend using a 3rd party service (Google Drive, YouTube, Dropbox, etc.) for keeping your video files.
- (NEW) File Display Switch in the File Manager
- Easily toggle between viewing your files in a Grid View (Default) or List View.
- List View provides a bit more information about your files and allows you to see more of your files before having to scroll
- (NEW) Path section available in the File Manager
- Towards the bottom of the My Explorer > File Manager, is a section for the Path.
- As files are selected, the path is updated at the bottom.
- Users can click the link in the path section to quickly copy the link
- (NEW) There is a new level of access available called "Root".
- The Posts Section in the My Explorer has received an update
- (NEW) Post List Header available. More information available right from the My Explorer including if the Post is owned by a GCD (Department or Classroom), the Post Visibility (public, private, or password protected), and the last time the Post has been modified/updated.
- (NEW) The "Get Link" button has been split into Relative and Full. Use Relative when linking from within your site, use Full when linking from outside your site (such as in a PDF or Word Document).
- The Gallery Section in the My Explorer has received a similar Update
- (NEW) Gallery Image Header available. More information available right from the My Explorer including when the Gallery Image was uploaded.
- (NEW) Gallery Image Display Switch
- Easily toggle between viewing gallery images in a Grid View or List View (Default)
- (FIXED) Uploading throughout Cyberschool will now categorize the file by type automatically into the My Explorer.
